The world in danger......message from Kibeho!

When our Lady appeared in Kibeho, Rwanda she brought a message for the world. She said the world was in danger of falling into an abyss if we did not turn back to God. Humanity has been stubborn and refused to heed Mary's warnings and we can see the effects. Just take a look at the world today, disaster after disaster. We started the year 2019 with the threat of a world war, volcanic eruptions and wild fires and now the pandemic of covid 19!

 

In summary our lady gave us the below messages in Kibeho ( highlights)

  • "Ndi nyina wa Jambo"(I am the Mother of the Word)
  • Repent while you still have time
  • Pray without hypocrisy
  • A child of Mary accepts his / her suffering
  • If you do not repent, the world will fall into an abyss!
  • Pray unceasingly from the heart
  • You cannot attain heaven without suffering
  • Pray the rosary of the seven sorrows and meditate on Jesus passion
  • Pray for the church always as it has trying times ahead!
  • Love and forgive one another!
The world is threatened today on all sides. Desert locusts have infested the horn of Africa and parts of the middle east and Asia. Storms , earth quakes and wildfires, climate change and the novel corona virus. Is it any wonder we are at the brink of the abyss our Lady prophesied? We have rejected God, we have allowed the sin of abortion (murder of innocents) to continue and normalized it! We have encouraged promiscuity among the youth with the promotion of contraception/condom use! We have tried to redefine marriage to accept same sex unions and confused our children with gender theory! We have abandoned one another with the love for materialism and self promotion. We have ignored our neighbors needs and have abandoned faith in God! This is what we have sown, this is our reward, chaos and darkness! It is the time of lent, let us turn back to God with true contrition in our hearts. The Lord is merciful and Just, he will hear us!


PS; Humanity will never know peace until it turns to my Divine Mercy...Jesus says! Lord Jesus, we trust in you, Have pity on us and on the whole word. Amen.

It is a beautiful thing to be in love but also a painful thing! So many misunderstandings can hurt you and sometimes it seems like you love someone more than they love you and it hurts grievously. At the moment of consecration by the priest, the host becomes the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus. Jesus loves us so much that he never ever wants to be far from us, so before he died he instituted the Eucharist at the last supper.  I cannot even describe how much this love humbles me and makes me realize my own poor efforts at "love". His love is so beautiful and pure and it is truly everything a person could ever want or hope for! How many insults have we given him? How many times have we not visited him in the blessed sacrament and yet he is always there waiting for us!

Life is meant to be lived not understood

My mother said that to me in a conversation we had last week. It got me thinking about life and how we always look for explanations to life's mysteries and problems. But the truth is sometimes in life , there is no answer! I was watching one of the TV shows i love, (yes i love watching TV shows) and the dad was saying to his child that "one day you are going to grow up and realize that you don't have all the answers". Children usually have an innocence that reasons that there is an answer for everything but us we grow up we realize that life is not black and white. Life is complicated and sometimes there is no explanation. There are so many things that happen in life and we ask ourselves why? Why are some people born with horrible disabilities? why are some people insane? why do some parents abandon their children?  Why do some people die so young? why cant everybody find love? The message of Kibeho....Ndi Nyina wa jambo!

Last week i mentioned that i would be going on pilgrimage. I was in a little village in Rwanda called Kibeho. It is a remote place towards the border with Burundi on top of rather steep hills. For those who have not heard about Kibeho, it is the site of the appartions of the blessed virgin Mary since the early 80's. It is also now associated with the divine mercy devotion as well! To summarise a beautiful message, Our mother calls us to repent and have a true conversion of heart. There is so much hatred, selfishness and bitterness in this world. Too much of a spirit of unforgiveness! When she first appeared she showed them the visions of what would come to pass if people did not convert. (the genocide).
